Myron Russell Mcneish

Myron Russell McNeish, 81, of Adamsville, died at 4:30 A.M. on Friday, January 31, 2014, at his home. He was born November 27, 1932, in Zanesville, a son of the late James and Mildred Hughes McNeish. He was a United States Army Veteran, a truck driver, and a member of Washington Township Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Marsha Tilton and Marilyn (Chris) Allen, all of Adamsville; three grandchildren, Jeremy Allen, Logan Tilton, and Jennifer Allen; a brother Jeff (Faye) McNeish of Zanesville; three sisters, Eleanor Vernon of Zanesville, Kay McNeish of Zanesville, and Carol Helms of Dresden; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Evelyn Huddleston of Zanesville, Dave (Kathy) Huddleston, and Michael, Alicia, Matthew, and Katie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Madeline Parrish McNeish, who died February 7, 1990; two brothers, Leland and Rodney McNeish; and a nephew Andy McNeish. Friends and family may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 3, 2014, with Pastor Chris Riggs officiating. He will be laid to rest at Washington Township Baptist Cemetery, Zanesville, with military honors being presented by the United States Army in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice-Morrison House: 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701; or to the Washington Township Baptist Church: 5500 Church Hill Road, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
