Nancy L. Chapin

Nancy L. Chapin, of Zanesville, died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born December 16, 1938 in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late S. Lloyd and Jennie Burrows Shook. She was a clerk for Stanley Home Products for 24 years. Surviving are two sons, Steve (Cynthia) Chapin of Zanesville and Doug (Brenda) Chapin of Odon, Indiana; two grandchildren, Sarah and Sam Chapin of Odon, Indiana; a sister, Mary Brown of Zanesville; two brothers, Gary Shook of Zanesville and Sam (Zelma) Shook of New Philadelphia and her faithful dog, Max. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Bobby, Buddy, Dick, Jack, Bill and Ralph Shook. A Celebration of Life Service for Nancy will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
