Nancy J. Hamler, 75, of Zanesville, died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at her home. She was born June 26, 1939, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Earl and Lesta White Hamler. She had worked for Goodwill in Cincinnati, Burger King in Zanesville, and Jo Ann Fabric in Zanesville. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering at the animal shelter. Surviving are a brother Bill Hamler of Zanesville; a sister Mary Stevens of Zanesville; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed Hamler and Kenneth Hamler; and two sisters, Francis Bailey and Ruth Hamler. Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, December 26, 2014, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 144 N 5th Street, Zanesville, with Father Peter Fegan as Celebrant. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
