Nancy L. Lewis, 86, of Zanesville, died at 12:20 P.M. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Cedar Hill Care Center, Zanesville. She was born August 14, 1932, in Port Huron, Michigan, a daughter of the late James and Marguerite Mugridge Goff. Nancy had taught at West Muskingum Schools, Muskingum University and she retired as the principal of Starlight School. She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. She is survived by two daughters, Catherine (Gregory) Smock and Christine Lutz; a sister, Carole (Robert) Wilson; a grandchild, Sarah (Todd) McVicker and a great grandson, Ryher McVicker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Lewis, who died in 2018 and a daughter, Carole Lynn Lutz, who died in 2010; a grandson Shane Lutz, who died in 2011; a brother Richard Goff; and the father of her children, Robert Lutz.
