Neal N. Noe

March 19, 1925 — June 30, 2015

Neal N. Noe, 90, of Zanesville, died at 1:51 P.M. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at his home. He was born March 19, 1925, in Edwardsville, IL, a son of the late Ralph Edward and Sylvia May Trout Noe. He was a World War II Army Veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater and earning a Purple Heart. He retired from Armco Steel after 22 years of service, was a member of the D.A.V. and Market Street Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Elsie Lewis Noe, whom he married March 1, 1946; three sons, Danny D. Noe of Zanesville, Mark E. (Linda) Noe of Lascassas, TN, and David N. Noe of Zanesville; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter Tammy Noe; three sisters, Hope Bash, Clara M. Talbot, and June Marie Mellenock; and a nephew Richard Noe. Friends and family may call two hours prior to the funeral service which will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 3, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with his son Rev. Mark Edward Noe, and Pastor Howard Thompson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville, with full military honors being presented by the United States Army in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice-Morrison House: 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701; or to Market Street Baptist Church: 140 N 6th Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
