Nellie L. King, 89, of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord at 4.25 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Cedar Hill Care Center. She was born May 1, 1919, in Cairo, West Virginia, the daughter of the late George and Grace Rogers Collins. She was one of eight children. Mrs. King was a lifetime member of the First Church of God on Newark Road and an avid bowler. She is survived by a daughter, Mary M. Antonetz of Athens, Ohio and special friend, Doug Green, also of Athens, Ohio; a son, Richard (Linda) King of Zanesville; a son-in-law, Tom Fell of Crooksville, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, Tom and Dick King, Amy Ward, Jason Fell, Alex, Anna, Abbey and Andrea Antonetz, Crystal Shultz, Robin King, Robert King, Stacy King; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and very special friends, Bob and Martha Campbell of Zanesville and Mary Arney of Barberton, Ohio. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William A. King, who died January, 23, 1982; a daughter, L. Kaye Fell; two sons, Thomas Lee King and William R. King; four sisters and three brothers. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Monday July 7, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville, and one hour prior to service at the church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8th, 2008 at the First Church of God, 1930 Newark Road with Pastor Glen Edmondson officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God, 1930 Newark Road, Zanesville, Ohio, 43701.
