Nina F. Hoosan

Nina F. Hoosan, 84, of Zanesville, Ohio died at 5:25 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2004 at Genesis Extended Care & Rehab (Sunnyview Nursing Home). She was born February 22, 1920 in Clio, Alabama, a daughter of the late Columbus (Cull) and Nancy (Mammie) Walker Bowden. She was a former School Teacher in Florida, was a member of Immanuel United Church Of Christ in Zanesville and was a former Red Cross volunteer for ten years. Surviving are a daughter, Sue C. ( Doug ) Doughty of Zanesville, a son, Michael E.(Laura) Hoosan of Columbiana, Ohio , a brother, Don Bowden of Altha, Florida, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hoosan, who died January 29, 1966, a sister, Lucille Holly and four brothers, Bobby, Dallas, Jessie and Bill Bowden. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 8th, 2004 at the Hall Funeral Home, Altha FL. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 9th, 2004 Burial will follow at the Chipola Cemetery, Altha FL. The Bolin Funeral Home entrusted with all arrangements.
