Noel W. Brumage, 78, of Zanesville, died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Adams Lane Care Center. He was born June 30, 1926 in Zanesville a son of the late Noel and Louise "Babe" Knapp Brumage. Noel retired from Lear Corporation as a Tool & Die maker and a machinist. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, a World War II and Korean Conflict Navy Veteran, member of Lafayette Lodge # 79 F&AM, VFW George Selsam Post 1058, Amrou Grotto # 45. Noel enjoyed woodworking, visiting friends and his dogs. Surviving are a daughter, Jill ( Chuck) Bailey of Zanesville, two sons, Jeff (Becky) Brumage of Mitchell, Indiana and Brad Brumage of Zanesville, four grandchildren, David (Leeann ) Brumage , Jennifer (Richard ) Key both of Mitchell, Indiana, Lori Beth Brumage all of Mitchell, Indiana and Erin Bailey of Cambridge, three great grandchildren, Conner Key, Lance Key and Devin Brumage, a brother, George (Rose) Brumage of Zanesville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thresa Brumage and a son, Joel Brumage Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Lafayette Lodge # 79 will hold services Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the grave.
