Norma M. Polk

NORMA M. POLK, age 87, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 2:00 pm Monday, May 10 2004 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born July 6, 1916 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Charles E. And Myrtle Graham Underhill. Mrs. Polk was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, was a former employee of the Zanesville Country Club and a former packer at the Hazel Atlas Glass Co. Surviving are her husband, Joe J. Polk, (married 1/3/1940), of the home, one daughter, Jenny Louise Polk of the home, two sons Joseph C. (Norma) Polk of Zanesville, and Jim J. (Diana) Polk also of Zanesville, six grandchildren, Noele Polk, Justin (Tammy) Polk, Nicole M. (Caleb) Barr, Natasha L. Polk, James R. (Sandy) Polk and Jacala (Stacy) Miller. Ten great grandchildren, Brooke, Michael, Harley, Zachary, Zane, Zoe, Justin, Mckenna, Lakota, and Anthony. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Bergen Underhill. Friends may call 2 :00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave, Zanesville Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 13, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home with the Rev. Dawn Remster officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery.
