Ona Frances Wolfinger

Ona Frances (nee Faulhammer Allen) Wolfinger, 64, of Zanesville, was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 2016, at 6:46 A.M. after fighting a long illness. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Ona was born March 28, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Herman and Frances (Bacha) Faulhammer. A devout Catholic, she followed God throughout her life. She loved to read and crochet, giving many of her creations to friends and family to enjoy. Everyone who met her, adored her. A very loving and caring person, Ona found it easy to make friends and could make a friend out of stranger. In 2012, she fought breast cancer and won. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Craig P. Wolfinger; daughter, Jennifer M. Allen; step-daughter, Sheila A. Wolfinger; step-sons James M. Wolfinger and Steven Wolfinger; brother Mark (Kathy) Faulhammer; nephews, Christopher and Brian Faulhammer; niece, Dawn Faulhammer; grandchildren, JoAnne and Eric; brother-in-law, Robert Wolfinger; nephew Zachary Wolfinger; and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dale H. Allen.
