Opal M. Schneider

Opal Marie Schneider, 89, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 27, 1919, in McConnelsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Jessie and Carrie Blanche Mitchell Harper. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis (Carl) Kirkbride of Nashport and Betty Wilkins of Chandlersville; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and with one on the way. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clyde Fox, who died in 1950; 2nd husband, Charles E. Schneider, who died November 7, 1983; a son, Donald Fox and two brothers, Clarence and Everett Harper. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at the funeral home with Dr. Richard Boyer officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Chandlersville.
