Pamela J. (Agin) Edwards

Pamela J. Edwards, 72, of Nashport, died at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Oaks at Northpointe. She was born November 10, 1943, in Cleveland, a daughter of the late James Jack and Florence Slonaker Agin. The family remained in Cleveland where James worked at the Defense Plant until 1945 when they moved back to Zanesville. Pam went to Springfield School and graduated in 1961 from Maysville High School and was still close to many of her classmates. She worked at the Times Recorder after graduation until 1965, when she quit to raise her family. In 1977 she went to work at the License Bureau and retired from the Lear Corporation Production Control Office in 2001. Pam was a member and past M.C.O. of Amrou Caldron. She enjoyed music, going to concerts, and was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals. But most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends. She is survived by two sons, Mark (Karen) Edwards and Mike Edwards, all of Nashport; six grandchildren, Mark Edwards Jr., Megan (Jay) Dudley, Matt Edwards, Savannah Hines, Jillian (Toblyn) Dunlap and Kim Caito; eight great grandchildren, Averie, Mason, Braxton, Dylan, Ava, Kohen, Sophia and Alexia; a sister Jackie Fink of Zanesville; niece Julie Brown; nephew Jeff Fink; many friends, and her best friends, Rita Gates, Susie Wilson and Roger Randolph. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bert and Edna Agin and Arthur and Anna Slonaker. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 15, 2016, with Minister Jason Watson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Muskingum Presbyterian Cemetery, Nashport.
