Pamela Kay Kinney, 67, of Zanesville, died at 8:00 A.M. on Friday, February 9, 2024, at her home. She was born October 15, 1956, in Crooksville, a daughter of the late Gerald Liff and Carolyn (Hensley) Liff Hampton, and her late step-father Earl Hampton. She retired from AK Steel, loved her crossword puzzles, and was a big country music fan, especially Randy Travis. Pamela had a special place in her heart for her dog and her many cats who she never let go hungry. She was a loving wife and friend who always had a smile on her face, and could bring a laugh and positivity to anyone she met.
She is survived by her husband Charles D. Kinney, whom she married November 26, 1976; two sons, Charles B. Kinney and Shawn D. (Lori) Kinney; two grandchildren, Brysen Kinney and Aubrey Kinney; brothers and sisters, Beth McIntosh, Bonnie Hampton, Christie Hampton, Scott Hampton, Bill Hampton and Jody Hampton; and several close friends, Renee Balderson, Penny Brooks who’s been a friend since Kindergarten, Vicki Van Allen, and neighbor Ruth Luburgh.
In addition to her parents and step-father, Pamela was preceded in death by two siblings, Alan Hampton and Darrell Hampton.
In accordance with her wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
