Patricia E. Evans

Patricia Elaine Evans, 62, of Zanesville, died at 12:26 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. She was born June 16, 1947, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Michael D. and Maxine Samson Tahyi. She had worked as an inspector for the Longaberger Company. She was a member of The Anchor Church, where she was active in the Golden Nuggets Senior Group and the Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Larry P. Evans, whom she married June 11, 1965, of the home; a daughter, Annette Evans of Zanesville; a sister, Vicki (Robert) Kirkbride of Zanesville; three brothers, Mike (Debbie) Tahyi of Zanesville, Randy (Peggy) Tahyi of Mishawaka, Indiana and Gene Tahyi of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Tabitha (Adam) Smith and Keith Alexander, both of Zanesville; eight great grandchildren, Tashia, Paige, AJ, Cameron, Natalie, Skye, Hailey Mey, and Baby Hailey; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Gibson. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 at The Anchor Church, 1365 Chamberlin Street, Zanesville with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
