Patricia J. (Kahn) Fries

Patricia Joy Fries of Zanesville by way of Brooklyn NY, was born on November 25th, 1931 and died peacefully on July 8th, 2018. She was surrounded by loving family. Patricia was a wife for 67 years, a mother for 65 years, a grandmother for 35 years, and recently became a great-grandmother. She was a talented pianist and played for many years, loved music, and loved taking care of her granddaughters. She was predeceased by her parents William Kahn and Sarah Kahn (Shapiro) of Brooklyn NY. She is survived by her husband Herbert Fries, son Miles Fries (Deborah), two granddaughters Amanda Fries Niedermeyer (Robert) and Sarah Fries, and great-grandson Carter Niedermeyer. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Rabbi Alex Braver officiating. Patricia will be laid to rest at Beth Abraham Jewish Cemetery, Zanesville. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
