Patricia A. (Carnes) Simon

Patricia A. “Patty” Simon, 72, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:40 P.M. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 2, 1949 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Irvin and Kathryn Camp Carnes. She was married to her loving husband, Forrest D. Simon on October 4, 1969 for 48 years. She had a love for antiques, NASCAR Racing and never missed the chance to watch her favorite football team the Pittsburgh Steelers. Patty enjoyed taking long car rides but above all else she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are three children, Regina, Bill and Forrest Simon Jr.; many grandchildren, Joey, Brittany, and Elyssa Lewis, Hannah Simon, Kayla( Chris) Mehl, Gabby, Ally and Preston Simon and great grandchildren,  Lauryn Zakany, Zayn Lightfoot, Landon, Liam and Lathan Mehl.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest D. Simon, who died September 9, 2017 and a sister, Juanita Carnes.
