Patricia "Pat" A. (Kessler) Yonley

Patricia (Pat) A. (Kessler) Yonley, 86, of Zanesville, died at 11:56 pm on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.  She was born March 16, 1938, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Charles and Opal (Robinson) Kessler.

Pat was an active member of Trinity Full Gospel PCG since November 1972, when the Lord spoke to her and told her “it is now or never, child”. Pat was a Sunday School Teacher and the Secretary-Treasurer for 40+ years. She was the Music/Drama Director for 30+ years. Pat loved her savior Jesus, her family, church family, friends, music, flowers, and chocolate. She loved to laugh.

She is survived by her son Vance (Michelle) Carpenter; granddaughter, Vanessa (Chris) Minner; grandson, Alex (Tori) Carpenter; great grandchildren, Colton Minner, Aeries Carpenter, Asher Carpenter, Calieb Minner, Zanes Minner, Payton Minner; nieces, Noelle Rardon, Nicole (Caleb) Barr, Natasha (Nick) Turner,  nephew, Justin Polk; and many other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband and soul mate of 43 years, Cecil Thurman Yonley, who passed away November 9, 2023; sisters, Norma (Kessler) Polk and Cora Sweet; and brother, Dwight Sweet.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Trinity Full Gospel Church, 535 Munson Ave., Zanesville, Ohio, with Pastor Donny Rowland officiating.  She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
