Paul C. Brady

Paul C. Brady, 83, of Zanesville, passed away at 12:10 A.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Heath Nursing Care Center, following a long illness of dementia. He was born December 30, 1929, in Gassaway, West Virginia, moving to Ohio in 1943. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Paul retired from Armco Steel in 1992 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and spending winters in Florida after his retirement. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Mary Miller Brady; a son Michael (Kathleen) Brady of New York, NY; daughters Linda (Gerald) Forrider of Richwood, OH, and Connie (Tom) Lenahan of La Combe, LA, and son-in-law Jim McCullough of Zanesville; grandchildren, Jeremy Blankenship, Brady Wolgamott, Emma and Evan McCullough, Michael and Robby Lanahan, and a special grandbaby due in October; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Pamela McCullough; parents Walter and Blanche Flint Brady; a brother Walter Brady; and two sisters, Mary Helen Fracker and Lola Carpenter. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2013, with Rev. Eric Miller officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tridia Hospice: 2215 Citygate Drive, Suite E, Columbus, Ohio 43219.
