Paul Harrison Bronkar, 75, of Zanesville died at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2004 at Willow Haven Nursing Home. He was born October 23, 1928 in Zanesville , a son of the late Clarence & Emma Adams Bronkar. He was a catholic by faith and he retired from Brockway Glass, was a World War II and Korean Marine Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW George Selsam Post 1058. Surviving is one son, Robin Bronkar of Zanesville, two daughters, Debra Calistro of Loveland, Colo. And Barbara Walker, of Gainesville, Florida, three grandchildren, Dusty Bronkar of Zanesville, Nathan Calistro and Stephen Calistro both of Loveland, Colorado, a loving comanion and best friend for over 30 years, Peggy Lewis of Zanesville, a brother, Clarence ( Ann ) Bronkar of Zanesville, two sisters, Vera Marsh and Grace Johnson all of Zanesville and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death besides his parents by a two brothers, Donald Bronkar and Forrest Bronkar, four sisters, Dorothea Bronkar, Jean Burgess, Mary Lou Findeiss and Beatrice Bronkar. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 26 with Rev. Mr. B.N. Petterson officiating Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park with VFW George Selsam Post 1058 holding military rites at the grave.
