Paul E. Mcpherson

Paul E. McPherson, 79, of Zanesville , died at 10:24 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2006 at Genesis Hospice- Morrison House. He was born March 22, 1926 in Zanesville a son of the late Burhl and Lillian Hillierd McPherson. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass Company after 32 years of faithful service and was a World War II Army Veteran. Surviving are three daughters, Deborah (Wimberly) Cook of Newark, Cindy Lou (Paul) Freeman of Keysville, Georgia and Mary Jo McPherson of Zanesville, a son, Ronald (Kathy) McPherson of Zanesville, a step-daughter, Charlie McPherson of Zanesville, nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and seven nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Paul Eugene McDonald, five brothers, Harold, Earl, Charles, Donald and Raymond McPherson, a sister-in-law, Ruth McPherson and a nephew Tom McPherson. Friends may call 1-3 & 5-6 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Thomas N. Hayes officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2006. At Washington Twp. Baptist Cemetery. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the graveside.. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ's Table.
