Pauline Snode

Pauline F. Gibson Snode, 89, of Zanesville, died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday, August 13, 2006 at Genesis Extended Care & Rehab Center. She was born November 16, 1916 in Noble Co., a daughter of the late Guy G. & Brittie Mae Swain Gibson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, bowling ,watching the birds and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. She was a lifelong member of Sarahsville United Methodist Church until her transfer to First Christian Church in Zanesville. Surviving are two sons, Gerald (JoAnn) Snode of Cambridge and Larry (Rita) Snode of Zanesville, a daughter, Beverly (John) Dick of Zanesville, six grandchildren, Leigh Ann Snode Bennett, Tom (Sondra) Snode, Michael (Jenny) Snode, Angela (Doug) Rapol, Lori (Tom) Crowley and Jason (Karina ) Dick; eight great grandchildren; Brad (Stephanie) Bennett, Emily ( Buddy Brock) Bennett, Eli, Evan, and Colin Snode, Olivia Rapol, Dalton Crowley and Aaron Dick, a brother, Richard (Mildred) Gibson of Sarahsville and a dear friend, Gracie Beebe of Zanesville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 62 years, Harry W. Snode who died in 1998, a brother John S. Gibson and a daughter-in-law, Carol Law Snode. Friends may call from 11a.m. til service time at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with her grandson, Rev. Thomas Snode officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
