Pearl Juanita English

Pearl J. (Judge) English, 90, of Zanesville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born December 17, 1927, in Benwood, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Jonathan and Gladys Rhudy Judge. She was member of the Central Trinity United Methodist Church, Zanesville and Holy City Shrine #1 of Wheeling, WV. Before moving to Zanesville in 1969, with her family, she resided in McMechen WV where she had been an active member of the McMechen-Benwood United Methodist Church, singing in their choir, being an adult Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School teacher for many years. She was a past member of Zanes & Janes Square Dance Club and Country Campers Club. Pearl raised her four children and later sold real estate for many years in Zanesville. She is survived by a daughter, Juanita (Mark) English-Bishop of Zanesville; two sons, Larry (Joyce) English of Glen Dale, WV., and Alan (Deborah) English of Coshocton; seven grandchildren, Melissa (Kirby) Barbour of Cary, NC., Jennifer (Bennie) Fornash of Columbus, Joseph (Amanda) English of Apex, NC., Melinda (Allen) Angle of Coshocton, Allison (Cyrus) Granger of Coshocton, Tiara (Anthony) Hannen of Frazeysburg and Tiffany Bishop of Columbus; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth English whom she married September 14, 1947; a son, Kenneth Paul English; and a granddaughter, Erica English. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. till the time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
