Peggy J. Lewis, 85, of Zanesville, died at 5:25 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2008 at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born February 5, 1923, in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late Ben B. and Ruth A. Conn Nichols. She retired as a sodder pot operator for United Technologies, was employed at the Sweet Station for 10 years and was a member of Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles #302. Surviving are two daughters, Judy Garvin of Corpus Christi, Texas and Linda (Pat) Norman of Wooster, OH.; two sons, Jack C. (Cheryl) Lewis and Gary L. Lewis, both of Wooster, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Carter and Geraldine Campbell; a brother, Samuel Nichols; a son-in-law, Neil Garvin and a loving companion, Paul H. Bronkar. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. L. Dale McCallister officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
