Phillip J. Pryor, 68, of Zanesville, died as a result of a tragic car accident at 10:35 P.M. on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in Chillicothe. He was born October 10, 1955, in Zanesville, a son of Marlene Ann Worstall Pryor Bishop, and the late Robert R. Pryor. He had retired from sales in Healthcare, was a member of Alpha Bible Church, and when he wasn’t at work, Phillip could be found traveling, fishing, or riding his motorcycle.
He is survived his mother, Marlene Ann (Forest) Worstall Pryor Bishop; by his children, Nealson J. (Heather) Pryor, Amy (Scott) Lewis, and Heather (Chad) Goins; two brothers, Douglas (Debbie) Pryor and Dan (Kim) Pryor; a sister Deanna (Raymond) Bishoff; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Bre, Lilly, Sydney, Madison, Jackson, Kennedy and Elijah; an Uncle Dick Pryor; many nieces and nephews; and his significant other, Teresa Schultheis.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bronwyn Brookner Pryor.
Friends and family may call from 1:00-3:00P.M. & 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, with Pastor Jim Adams officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Bronwyn at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
