Phyllis J. Nolan Glass, 80, of Zanesville, died at 11:52 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Select Speciality Hospital. She was born June 9, 1926, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Francis Lee and Mildred "Babe" C. F. Cooper Nolan. Phyllis was a former employee of the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and Buckeye Mart. She was a longtime member of the St. John Lutheran Church. Surviving are a daughter and son in-law, Martha and John Holbein of Zanesville; one son and daughter in-law, David and Debbie Glass of Reynoldsburg Ohio; two grandchildren, Julie (Jason Bucci) Holbein and Matt Holbein; two step grandchildren, Derek (LeAnna) Harris and Brad Harris; four step great grandchildren, Jesse, Nia, Brooke, and David Harris. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry W. Glass, who died August 24, 2001). Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Pastor Jack Welch officiating. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Genesis Hospice Morrison House and Palliative Care or to the St. John Lutheran Church.
