Phyllis J. Stevens

Phyllis J. Stevens, 70, of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord at 2:00 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2006 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born August 29, 1935, in Zanesville, the daughter of Eleanor Roach McDonald and the late Raymond McDonald. Phyllis was a member of the North Terrace Church of Christ. Surviving is her husband, Russell E.Stevens, (married 1/5/1995), of the home, her mother, Eleanor Roach McDonald of Zanesville, two daughters, Eleanor (Shawn) Kerby and Peg (Jack) Kinder, both of Zanesville, a son, Louie (Deb) Joseph of Zanesville, five step daughters, Kathy Stevens of Phoenix AZ., Judy (Shawn) Henderson of Wash., Candy Lee Heinz of Colorado, Barbara Ann Stevens of Milwalkee, WI. and Esther Lynn (Sonny) Coronado of Maricopa AZ., two sister in-laws, Opal King of Zanesville and Kathryn Gibbons of Melbourne FL., twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Russell Joseph and a great grandson. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville, Ohio, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 with William Meaige officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
