Ralph O. Hutchison

Ralph O. Hutchison, 85, of Zanesville, died at 4:00 A.M. on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 25, 1931 in Carlwick, son of the late Lester and Gertrude Wycoff Hutchison. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Ralph was a member of LaFayette Lodge #79 and a 32nd Degree Mason. He retired from Brockway Glass after forty two and a half years of service. Ralph enjoyed working in the yard and Ohio State sports. He is survived by his wife of fifty six years, Betty J. Piper Hutchison, whom he married July 30, 1960; two sons, Randy (Christina) Hutchison of West Lafayette and Steven Hutchison of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Rebecca Hutchison and Clay Hutchison of West Lafayette; and a sister, Marlene Hutchison of Zanesville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Hutchison. Joy French officiating. Full Military honors will be accorded to him by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29.
