Ralph D. Stiles, 76, of Zanesville, died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born September 4, 1934, on a farm in Bloomfield, Ohio, a son of the late John R. and Mildred Blake Stiles. He spent his early childhood there and then moved to Coshocton, Ohio, where he graduated from Coshocton High School Class of 1953. He retired after 28 years of service as a shot blaster for McGraw Edison. He attended the First Christian Church, loved to fish and his greatest accomplishment was his family. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Shirley Mossman Stiles of the home; a daughter, Diana (Ron) Faulhaber of Zanesville; two sons, David (Anna) Stiles of Zanesville and Darin (Kristi) Stiles of Orlando, FL; 5 grandchildren, Andrea (Kyle) Minnich, Jeremy (Amber) Faulhaber, Tina McIntire, Kelli (Andrew) Kachilla and Elaina Stiles; 5 great grandchildren, Paige, Lola, Callie, Amelia, Everett and one soon to arrive, Brianna; a sister, Mary Isella of Pottsville, PA; two brothers, Homer (Dee) Stiles of Zanesville and Jim (Mary Jane) Stiles of near Rio Grande, OH.; and his special friends at McDonalds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Dawn Remster officiating. He will be laid to rest in Williams Cemetery, Zanesville.
