Ramon J. Ascencio

Ramon Juan Ascencio, 82, of Zanesville, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at his home. He was born May 29, 1933, in Chicago, IL, a son of the late Frank and Cecile Scott Ascencio. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and worked as an Engineer for Nippert Engineering. He is now in heaven after six years of waiting to be with his wife of 53 years and rejoicing in their reunion. He will be missed and loved by many. He is survived by his children, David (Jennifer) Ascencio, Nicholas (Christina) Ascencio; grandchildren, Victoria Ascencio, Dylan Ascencio, Logan Ascencio, Savannah Ascencio, Dakota Ascencio and Alyssa Ascencio; a sister Nancy Cannack; and a sister-in-law Joan Ascencio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Susan Ann Goble Ascencio; and a brother Frank Donald Ascencio.
