Randall L. Jones

Randall Lee "Randy" Jones, 49, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at his home. He was born June 2, 1960, in Zanesville, the son of Sylvia Dunn Jones Burchett and Gary Jones. He was a member of the Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church and was employed by American Line Construction Company for 15 years and then self employed as an independent contractor. Surviving are his loving mother and step father, Sylvia (Larry) Burchett of Zanesville; father, Gary (Becky) Jones of Zanesville; and father-in-law, Carl (Carolyn) Bruce of Zanesville. Randy leaves behind his wife of 26 years, whom he adored, Rosa Bruce Jones. He also leaves behind his daughter, Shantelle, who was his world and the light of his life, he only referred to her as "Pretty Girl"; a step son, Jeremy (Lindsey) Fouch and grandson Weston of Lebanon, PA.; a sister, Rhonda Heskett; a special nephew, Cade Heskett of Zanesville; an aunt and uncle, Rick "Unkie" (Kathy) Dunn of Zanesville; a half brother, Gary Jones II; a half sister, Rhianna (Chris) Boggs; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Deloris and Earl Dunn. Calling hours will begin at 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Homer Maple officiating. A dignified cremation will take place following the service.
