Raymond E Barnhart

Raymond E. Barnhart (Ted), 65, of Zanesville, died at 3:16 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2007 at his residence with his wife by his side. He was born June 4, 1942, in Union, Ohio, a son of the late Amos and Anna Bailey Barnhart. He was a former maintenance mechanic for New Bakery, was a member of American Legion Post #29 for 19 years and was a US Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Pauline West Barnhart, whom he married August 25, 2003 of the home; two daughters, Shelly Whitman and Debbie (Tim) Evans, both of Columbus, Ohio; a son, Raymond "Sam" (Angelia) Barnhart of Gray, Tennessee; two step-daughters, Kimberly Fleece and Kristie (Boyd) Henderson, both of Zanesville; two brothers, Ronnie (Sandy) Barnhart and Ralph (Marty) Barnhart, both of Cadiz, Ohio; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith Barnhart; two sisters, Mabel and Doris; two brothers, Dick and Lewis and a grandson, Dustin. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park cemetery.
