Renee Wynne Huddleston, 52, of Zanesville, passed away from natural causes at her residence on Wednesday November 14, 2012. She was born in Zanesville on May 27, 1960, the daughter of the late Marilyn Smith Huddleston. She was a graduate of Rosecrans High School Class of 1978 and attended Ohio University in Athens, OH. She was a seasonal employee of the Harry & David Company for a period of time, but spent the biggest part of her life in volunteer work for the Girl Scouts, the Muskingum County Pioneer & Historical Society and the Muskingum County Animal Shelter. Her love of animals led her eventually to offering an in-home pet sitting service for people going on vacation who chose to leave their pets at home, which she's done these past 20 years or more. She is survived by her uncle, Paul V. (Deanna) Smith of Nashport, OH and Winter Haven, FL. She was pre-deceased by her mother and her maternal grandparents Howard H. and Verna M. Smith. A dignified cremation will take place. No calling hours or service will be held at this time. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Renee's name to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter, the Muskingum County Pioneer & Historical Society, the Rosecrans H.S. Foundation, the Girl Scouts, or a charity of your choice. To send a note of condolence or to follow us on Facebook: www.bolin-dierkesfuneralhome.com or call our professional staff at (740)452-4551.
