Rex A. Dunn

Rex Arlen Dunn, 60, of Zanesville, died at 9:07 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. He was born January 22, 1947 in Zanesville a son of Marjorie Mae Harrop McFarland of New Concord and the late Robert Edgar Dunn. He was a member of Ark Springs Baptist Church. Rex was in construction working with the Big Muskie and building Eaglesticks Golf Course. He enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, building, painting and drawing. He was an avid sports fan. Surviving are his wife, Cheryl McDonald of the home; two daughters, Tina (Brent) Ball of New Concord, and Crystal Savage of the home; three sons, Charles ( Robin) McDonald of Roseville, Brian McDonald of Zanesville and Nickoles McDonald of the home; five grandchildren; a brother, Donald McDonald of Columbus; a sister, Deborah (Greg) Dodson of Zanesville. Besides his father, He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard McDonald. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2007 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday October 30, 2007 with Rev. Dean Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville.
