Rhea Colling, 87, of Roswell, New Mexico, formerly of Zanesville, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Eastern New Mexico Hospital. She was born November 25, 1920, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Mont and Elsie Holmes Hiles. She was a retired store manager for K Bowling Supply, a member of Rebekah Lodge Eastern Star and Amrou Grotto Cauldren. She attended First United Methodist Church. Rhea is survived by a son, John (Sherry) Colling of Zanesville; a daughter, Janet (Harry) Workman of Roswell, New Mexico; three granddaughters, Jenny (Joe) Sayles, Jodi (Andrew) Butts of Artesia, New Mexico and Buffy Workman of Roswell, New Mexico; three grandsons, Scott (Tracey) Shrider of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jeff (Karen Scott) Colling and Jay (Amanda) Colling; two step granddaughters, Wendy (Steve) Ashby and Lori Hickman; 15 great grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren and a step great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Colling, who died September 14, 1992 and a brother, Owen Hiles. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. Joy French officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
