Richard G. DeVolld, 64, of Utica, fomerly of Zanesville, died at 9:35 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2005 at the Utica Care Center. He was born August 21, 1941 in Zanesville a son of the late Edmond and Helen Wright DeVolld. He was a salesman for Goebel Tobacco Company for 15 years and worked for Myers and Watters Painting Contractors for 8 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran stationed in Key West. Surviving are two daughters, Darlene (Ron) Coleman of Williamsport and Michele DeVolld of Columbus, four grandchildren, a step-mother, Virgene DeVolld of Zanesville, four brothers, David (Ann) DeVolld of Zanesville, Brett (Darlene) DeVolld of Columbus, Bart (Debbie) DeVolld of St. Clairsville and Blake (Myra) DeVolld of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby DeVolld and a grandson. Friends may call from 11a.m.till service time Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Ray Morrison Jr. officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Zanesville Memorial Park.
