Richard Mohler

Richard Mohler, 69, of Zanesville, died at 2:40 P.M. on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the Zanesville Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 25, 1946, a son of the late William E. Mohler, Sr. and Gwendolyn Watkins Mohler Robinson. He owned his own restaurant, but was retired. He was a true family man and an avid storyteller. Richard enjoyed driving around looking for new restaurant property and meeting his buddies for coffee at McDonalds. He is survived by three grandchildren, Matt Mohler of Zanesville, Lindsay Clifford of Zanesville, and Paige Mohler of Zanesville; four sisters, Melissa (Ron) Dobbins of Philo, Becky (Floyd) Brown of Laurelville, Susan (Larry) Hoover of Zanesville, Cherie (David) Murrey of Zanesville; one brother, William E. Mohler, Jr. of Zanesville; sister-in-law, Kim Mohler of Zanesville; son-in-law, Darrel Clifford; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Ruth. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Lori Clifford; two brothers, Bobby Mohler and Randy Mohler; longtime friend, Susie Taravers; and infant sister, Rosalie Mohler.
