Richard K. Wilson, 85 of Nashport, died at 7:55 A.M. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at his residence. He was born on March 1, 1930, in Zanesville, a son of the late Charles K. and Mary J. Wood Wilson. He served four years on the USS ST. Paul CA 73 during the Korean Conflict, and worked 43 years at Essex/United Technologies/Lear, and was a member of the American Legion Post #29 and VFW George Selsam Post #1058. Surviving are his children, Holly A. (Patrick) Norris of Zanesville, Heidi L. Wilson of Florida, Richard M. (Nita) Wilson of Kingsley, MI. and Robert C. (Natalie) Wilson of Kingsley, MI; nine grandchildren, Jeremy B. (Darci) Norris, Jessy B. (Levi) Roberts, Ryan Boyden, Joshua Boyden, Richard (Sam) Wilson II, Heather Wilson, Carrie Myles, Robert Wilson, and Chase Wilson; and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dolores A. Wilson, who died in 2003. No calling hours will be observed, a graveside service for family and friends will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 22, 2016, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, with Mr. William Meaige officiating, with full military honors being presented by The United States Navy in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058 and American Legion Post #29. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville.
