Rita Richardson

Rita J." Tootsie " Richardson, 68, of Zanesville died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Genesis Extended Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 27, 1936 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late George F. & M. Regina Barry Smith. She graduated from Rosecrans High School and was a Teacher's Aide for over 25 years at St. Thomas Catholic School where she was lovingly known as " Mother Richardson." Surviving are three daughters, Lori M. Richardson of Michigan City, Indiana, Lynn ( Anthony ) Shaffer of Nashport and Lisa ( Christopher ) Olney of Zanesville, five grandchildren, Emily, Jason, Jeffrey , Joey and Jared, a sister, Ruth Ann ( Donald ) Broerman of Rocky River and two brothers, John ( Mary ) Smith of Hamilton and Robert ( Marcia ) Smith of Columbus, a great aunt, Evelyn Richardson of Zanesville, two sisters-in-laws, Laura Rhinehart of Zanesville and Rita McGlade of Westerville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Richardson, who died December 30, 1995. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Fr.Emmanuel Bertrand officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
