Robert A. Allen

Robert A. Allen, 74, of Zanesville, died at 12:02 P.M. on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born June 7, 1944, in Steubenville, a son of the late Alfred and Mary Faulk Allen. He was a coalminer, an organ donor, and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes. He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Fortner Allen; a son, Bobby John Allen; a sister, Mary Ellen (Tom) Llewellyn; and a brother, Roger (Beverly) Allen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sallie and Marvin Allen; and a sister, Shirley Allen. There will be no call hours observed. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2018, at Williams Cemetery, Zanesville. The family has asked for no flower donations in remembrance of Robert.
