Robert "Bobby" E. Davis Jr.

Robert E. “Bobby” Davis Jr., 67, of Zanesville, died at 7:37 P.M. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born December 21, 1957, in Zanesville, a son of the late Robert E. Sr. and Shelby (Garrett) Davis and his beloved grandma that raised him, whom he affectionately referred to as “Gramma Boo Boo”. Bob proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid fisherman and he lived along the edge of ponds and riverbanks while enjoying a cold one and a cigarette.

He is survived by his significant other of seventeen years, Karen Hutchinson; his sister, “Tug” Davis-Stanbery; four brothers, Rich (Tammy) Davis, Bill (Tina) Davis, Mike Davis, and Chad (Melissa) Riffle; nieces and nephews, Conner, Ashley, Rusty, Faith, Chastity, and Justin Davis, Roro Riffle, and very special nephews, Scott and Jason Stanbery; very special great nephew, Logan Stanbery.

In addition to his parents and grandmother he is preceded in death by sister-in-law, Linda Davis; brother-in-law, John Stanbery: and his good fur buddy, Harley.

A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, Zanesville.
