Robert Dudley Goodrich Ii

Robert Dudley Goodrich, ll, passed away on July 5, 2022.  He was born April 11, 1946, in Charleston, WV. a son of the late Ann (Allen) and Robert D. Goodrich. Robert was a resident of Zanesville since 1975 and co-founder and owner of Wendy’s Management Group, Inc.  He was inducted into the Wendy’s Hall of Fame in 1990. He was past president of United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties; Goodwill Industries; Bethesda Health Foundation; Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra; Wendy’s National Advertising Program; Zanesville Country Club.  He was an emeritus board member of The Muskingum County Community Foundation and a director of First Federal Savings Bank and Century National Bank.

Robert is survived by his wife of 26 years, Virginia Donoho Goodrich; two daughters, Stephanie (James) Harris of Athens, Ohio, and Bethany (Basil) Economus of New Albany, Ohio; one son, Robert D. (Elizabeth) Goodrich lll, of Athens, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Megan (David) LeBlanc of Wellesley, MA; two stepsons, Kevin (Zinnie) Aepli of Wilson, WY, and Christopher (Allison) of Carlsbad, CA. 11 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, nephews and a niece, and a sister, Dorothy Shanley of Wheeling, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Goodrich.

Private family services were held with burial at Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville.
