Robert Lee Huber, 71, of Zanesville, died at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Genesis Good Samaritan hospital. He was born November 17, 1937, in Zanesville, a son of the late William and Rachel Reihl Huber. He was a retired production manager in the oil fields and attended the Word of Life Ministries Church. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Shirley Emerick Huber, whom he married April 26, 1958, of the home; a daughter, Kelly Huber Taft of New Concord; four sons, Robbie (Shelly) Huber of Newark, Randy (Josie) Huber of Heath, Richard (Schree) Huber and Reggie Huber, both of Zanesville; a sister, Kay (Jim) Ball of Zanesville; two brothers, William Jr. (Dorothy) Huber of Cleveland and Jack (Marlene) Huber of Sonora; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a special great grandson, Reid Bailey of Zanesville; In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley of Florida and a son-in-law, Brent Taft of New Concord. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Rev. John Sensabaugh officiating.
