Robert L. March, 72, of Zanesville, died after a long illness at 5:35 P.M. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Adams Lane Care Center. He was born December 4, 1942 in Zanesville, a son of the late Glen F. and Katheryn J. Myers March. Bob was a graduate of New Concord High School in 1960, attended college in accounting while living in Texas. He worked as an accountant, a semi-truck driver, school bus driver and a real estate agent. Bob had his pilot's license for small planes and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Bob attended the Lutheran Church in Adamsville, River of Life Church in Zanesville and most recently House of Grace in Zanesville. Surviving are two daughters, Lorina (Mark) Stevens of TX and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Alexander of Columbus; a son, William March; a step-son, David (Tammy) Piattof Philo; two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Ann of Kipling and Glenda K. March of Zanesville; a brother, Michael of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 and Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. till noon at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 with Pastor Joseph Dunlap officiating. Bob will be laid to rest at Coshocton County Memorial Gardens, Coshocton, OH.
