Robert L. Mccabe

Robert L. McCabe, 73, of Zanesville, died at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House on June 11, 2010 at 11:45 a.m. Robert was born November 30, 1936 in Roseville, a son of the late Russell and Gertrude Hoskinson McCabe. He retired from Mid- Atlantic Canners after 25 years of service. He was a member of the VFW George Selsam Post #1058, American Legion Post 29, Eagles Lodge 302 and a United States Marine Veteran and United States Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Carol Osborn McCabe, of the home, who he married on February 15, 1969; 2 daughters, Robyn (Ed) Rupe of Blue Rock and Candy (Jay) Erwine of Nashport; 2 granddaughters, Ashley (Brodie Geiger) Rupe of Blue Rock and Adriene (David) Joslin of Zanesville; a very special aunt, Mary Gaffey of Zanesville; two uncles, Fredrick Richard Hoskinson and Jack D. Hoskinson both of Zanesville; and several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws who loved him dearly. Friends may call Tuesday June 15, 2010 from 11:00 - 1:00 at the Bolin- Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Where the service will be held at 1:00 with Pastor Sturman Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
