Robert L. Rhinehart, 80, of Zanesville, died at 4:04 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Genesis Good Samaritan hospital. He was born September 15, 1926, in Zanesville, a son of the late John L. and Myrtle R. Smith Rhinehart. He retired from Stanley Home Products after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Muskingum County Senior Center. He loved Euchre and Round and Square Dancing. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes and he was a longtime baseball coach in South Zanesville. Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey (Mary) Rhinehart of Columbus and Jonathan (Theresa) Rhinehart of Zanesville; two granddaughters, Courtney Rhinehart and Isabel Rhinehart; several step-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Rhinehart of Zanesville; a special friend, Pat Hysell of Cambridge, Oh. and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy L. Frasier Rhinehart, who died November 14, 1981; by his second wife, Mildred Rhinehart; two sons, Mark and Joseph Rhinehart; three sisters, Mary Miller and twins Dora May and Dorothy Marie Rhinehart and a brother, Richard Rhinehart. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
