Robert T. Rusk, 74, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2006 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born November 4, 1931, in Zanesville, the son of the late Ivor M. and Carolyn Skinner Rusk. Bob was a former Secretary and Vice President at the Zanesville Federal Savings and Loan Bank for 24 years, a longtime member of the Market Street Baptist Church, where he was a former Deacon and Treasurer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Amity # 5 F & AM, a member of the Muskingum County Association Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, (32 Degree Mason), Lodge Council Chapter Consistory Scottish Rite, Valley of Cambridge, Aladdin Shriners, Zavi Shrine, Order of Eastern Star # 485, Rosa Shrine White Shrine of Jerusalem and Amrou Grotto #45, a former member of the Zanesville Country Club, served on the Board of Directors for the former YMCA, a 55 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #302, a member of the Fraternal Order of Elks #114, and served on other various boards. Surviving are his wife, Billie L. Kerr Rusk, (married September 6, 1952); three sons, Jason (Karla) Rusk of New Albany, Oh., twin sons, R. Bret (Mary) Rusk of Downers Grove, IL. and W. Bart (Kathy) Rusk of Woodridge, Il.; two brothers, Ivor M. (Lorretta) Rusk of Reynoldsburg and John A. (Caryl) Rusk of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; one grandson, Joe Rusk; five granddaughters, Erin Hruby, Whitney Rusk, Sarah Rusk, Maggie Rusk and Lauren Rusk. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2006 at the Market Street Baptist Church, 140 N 6th St., Zanesville, with the Rev. D. Scott Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Lodge of Amity #5 F & AM will hold services at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
