Roberta "Bobbi" D. Lucas, 67, of Zanesville, died at 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born on June 12, 1945 in Cambridge to the late Dan and Anna Swacus Lucas. Bobbi graduated from St. Benedict's School. She was a member of the Mt. Sterling United Methodist Church. She worked as a nurse's aid at Bethesda Hospital & Helen Purcell Home. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, NASCAR and Ohio State Football. Surviving are her loving companion and best friend, David L. Finley; a step-daughter, Judith M. (Wilson) Hamilton; a step-grandson, James A. Hamilton all of Zanesville; a brother-in-law, Keith Stevens of Columbus; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her dog, Coco. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry R. "Butch" Lucas; eight brothers, Andrew Lucas, Joseph Lucas, John Lucas, Robert Lucas, David Lucas, Michael Lucas, Paul Lucas, George Lucas; two sisters, Geraldine Lucas and Patricia Stevens; and a father-in-law, Robert E. Lucas. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where the funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 with Pastor Charles Norris officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Mt. Sterling Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
