Roger Dean Miller

Roger Dean Miller, 65, of Zanesville, died at 3:36 P.M. on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 19, 1959, in Zanesville, a son of the late Robert Sr. and Penny (Harper) Miller. Roger was employed as a mechanic at Mt. Sterling Auto Wrecking, over the years he attended both the Pleasant Valley Bible Church and the First United Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed racing cars, was a member of the Racing Club and raced cars on his own circuit.

He is survived by his daughters Courtney (Levi) Kuhn and Caitlyn (Jeff) Roberts; his girlfriend of nearly twenty years, Linda Wolfe; eight grandchildren, Slade, Silas and Saige Kuhn, Collin Hague, Haeley Wisecarver, and Paiton, Karson and Cooper Roberts; siblings, Robert ll (Robin) Miller, Carol (Roger) Gard, Ricky (Jodi) Miller, Randy Miller, Cheryl (Jim) Miller, Ryan (Kim) Miller, and Crystal (Chad) McKenzie; sixteen nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews; special friends, Roy Roberts and Alex (and many others); his “neighborhood grandkids” (The Mugz); and Roger’s dearly loved church families at Pleasant Valley Bible Church and First United Pentecostal Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Miller; niece, Vivian Veyon; nephew, Wesley Osborne; and his foster brother, John Church.

All arrangements have been entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the West Muskingum Athletics Booster Hall.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Genesis Cancer Center and the entire hospital for the wonderful care given to Roger over the years.
