Roger Lee Reichart, 73, of Zanesville, died at 4:20 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born March 24, 1934, in Zanesville, a son of the late William Conrad and Olive Juanita Lowery Reichart. Roger retired after 37 years of service as a stock person with the Kroger Company and was a member of the Kroger's Retail Clerk's Union. He was an animal lover who loved to feed the birds and squirrels. Surviving are two sisters, Nancy (Russell) Ross and Ruth Ann (Gene) King, both of Zanesville; a niece, Debbie Ross of Tennessee; four nephews, Daniel (Holly) Ross of Zanesville, Donald (Elaine) Ross of Dresden, Gene (Barbara) King Jr. of Zanesville and Michael (Beth) King of Columbus, Ohio; two great nieces, Nicole (Zack) Wagner of Zanesville and Erica Garbe of Columbus; six great nephews, Aaron Ross and Nate (Amber) Ross, both of Dresden, Justin Ross of Martinsville, Indiana; Scott (Elizabeth) King of Cincinnati; Todd King and Chris Garbe, both of Columbus; two great-great nephews, Stuart King of Cincinnati and Aiden King of Columbus and a sister-in-law, Sara Reichart of Zanesville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Reichart. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at noon on Friday, December 21, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with the Rev. Steve Neville officiating assisted by Rev. Daniel Neville. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery near Roseville, Ohio.
