Ronnie F. Jewett

Ronnie F. Jewett, 76, of Zanesville, died at 6:24 A.M. on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Genesis Hospital. He was born June 27, 1948, in Milligan Bend, Ohio, a son of the late Johnny and Emma (Bigham) Jewett. Ronnie proudly served his county in the United States Army, he retired from the New Bakery after thirty years of service and went on to work another fifteen years for Genesis Community Ambulance service. He was an Avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals. He loved NASCAR especially #5, Kyle Lawrence, and was the owner and sponsor of dirt track racing #41.

He is survived by his wife, Tamara (Smith) Jewett whom he married April 18, 1998; two daughters, Cindy (Scott) Ewart and Courtney (Ed Guy) Wood; two stepsons, Bradley (Angie) Thompson and Sean (Cindi) Thompson; four grandchildren, Tori (Dakota Wolfe) Ewart, Lexi (Donovan Collins) Ewart, Brayden Wood, and step-grandchild, Olivia Thompson; one great-grandchild, Braxton Moore; one sister, Donna (Don) Talbot; and his Dog and companion Ruby whom Ronnie dearly loved.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Davis.

A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
